He said her behaviours inspired him to use substances and led him to the closest he's ever been to a breakdown.
The former Pirates of the Caribbean actor told the court the jibes were "constant".
"It could begin with a slap, a shove, throwing a TV remote at my head or throwing a glass of wine at my face."
The $50million dollar court case is continuing in Virginia this week.
