Public servants who have signed up to the Lansdowne Road Agreement would not stand for special deals with Gardai and Teachers.
That's the message from the Minister for Public Expenditure who is standing firm on his statement that the current deal on public sector pay is the only game in town.

Paschal Donohoe has set up the Public Service Pay Commission, which will discuss future pay with public servants.
But Minister Donohoe says there cannot be special deals for the ASTI teachers or gardai,– or all public servants would want them;
The Minister also confirmed that Ministers and Junior Ministers would not be taking their pay increase which is due under the Lansdowne Road Agreement.
