Lewis Capaldi has been confirmed as a headliner at this year's Electric Picnic.
Organisers made the official announcement today, after the singer appeared to reveal the news earlier this week by including the date in a list of gigs on his merchandise.
He will perform on the main stage on Friday night, and other headliners include Gorillaz, CMAT, Fontaines DC, Sombr, and Zara Larsson.
In a statement, organisers say: "The Cap’s out of the bag… We were always going to give you ‘Someone You Loved’ and Electric Picnic is delighted to announce Lewis Capaldi is set to headline Ireland’s biggest music and arts festival on Friday 28th August!
"The Scottish singer will no doubt get a hero’s welcome to Stradbally as he joins the ranks of already announced headliners Gorillaz and Fontaines D.C. plus CMAT, Sombr, Zara Larsson and much more at this year’s festival.
"This year’s Electric Picnic returns to Co. Laois and will take place from 28th to 30th August 2026 welcoming 80,000 music fans to the 600-acre Stradbally Estate, with festival favourites such as Provedencia, Croí, Trailer Park, Fish Town, Salty Dog and Mindfield set to return."
