Traditional breakfasts of offal, kidney and liver are being served up to celebrate Bloomsday in Dublin.

Hundreds of people are staging readings, songs and recreating scenes from Ulysses, the book made famous by James Joyce set in Dublin in 1904.

Readings from Ulysses are being held in the historical pub, Kennedy’s on Westland Row in Dublin, where James Joyce was a regular.
