Gardai will be cracking down on speeding drivers across the country today, as part of the first ever Europe-wide operation on speeding.
The 24 hour marathon effort will involve speed checkpoints across 22 countries until 6 o'clock tomorrow morning.
It's being co-ordinated by the European Traffic Police Network.
Students from Drimnagh Castle Secondary School in Dublin carried out their own survey and found more than half of the 200 drivers were over the speed limit.
