Drugs worth €800,000 and €80,000 in cash have been seized in west Dublin.
The 40 kilograms of cannabis was found after a car was stopped in Clondalkin on Tuesday as part of a Gardai operation targetting serious and organised crime.
A 47-year-old man was arrested under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
He is being held at Clondalkin Garda Station.
