Police in the North investigating the Kingsmill massacre 40 years ago have arrested a 59-year-old man.
Detectives from the PSNI'Â’s Legacy Investigation Branch arrested the man on suspicion of the murder of 10 men in Kingsmill, Co Armagh.
The Protestant workmen were shot dead after their mini-bus was stopped near the village in January 1976.
The IRA has been widely blamed for the mass shooting, which was seen as a reprisal for loyalist killings in the same area.
Two months ago police revealed a potential match had been found to a palm print left on a getaway vehicle.
Detective chief inspector Ian Harrison said the man was arrested in Newry today, and is currently assisting Police with their enquiries.
