A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed outside the Wright Venue in Swords Co. Dublin last night.

An after party was being held at the nightclub for singer Chris Brown who had performed at the 3Arena earlier yesterday evening.

The man in his 20s was rushed to Beaumont Hospital at around 4am.

An area of the car park in front of the venue was sealed off by Gardai this morning and investigations are underway.

Gardai have also made an appeal for witnesses. Anyone with information is being asked to contact Gardai in Swords.
