A man aged in his 20s has been killed in a stabbing in Dublin this afternoon.
The attack happened in the car park of an apartment block at Larch Hill in Santry at around 3 o'clock.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the man was taken by ambulance to Beaumont Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Gardai arrested a man, also aged in his 20s, a short time after the incident.
He's being detained at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The scene has been sealed off for a forensic technical examination, while the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to contact them.
