Police in Belfast investigating the murder of Jean Mc Conville in 1972 have arrested a 56-year-old man.
The PSNI says detectives from its serious crime branch made the arrest in West Belfast this morning.
Jean Mc Conville was abducted from her home and murdered in 1972.
In 2003 her body was found on a beach in County Louth.
Last month a 77-year-old man was charged in connection with the murder.
