A man in his seventies has died in a workplace accident in County Clare.
It happened at Clonadrum, Mullagh shortly before 1 o'clock this afternoon.
It's understood that the man sustained his injuries in an incident involving machinery.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick.
Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority are investigating.
