A man has died after being knocked down by a bus at Dublin Airport overnight.
The pedestrian, who was in his 60s, was struck on Corballis Road shortly after midnight.
His body has since been taken to the mortuary at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown and the coroner has been notified.
The scene was cordoned off for a technical exam and a partial road closure is in place at the main access route into the Airport.
Daa, which operates the airport, says it's deeply saddened by the death of the passenger.
It says access remains and traffic is moving well but further road closures may be needed as the morning progresses.
Gardaí have advised people travelling to the airport on Thursday morning to allow extra time for their journey.
Investigating officers at Ballymun Garda Station are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They're also asking drivers, or other road users, who were travelling in the area between 11.45pm on Wednesday 22nd and 00:15am, and who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage to make it available to them.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ballymun Garda Station on (01) 666 4400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
