Gardaí in Wicklow are continuing to question a man arrested in connection with a drugs seizure in Kilcoole village.

The 60 year old was arrested yesterday in connection with the discovery of Cocaine and Cannabis with an estimated street value of 25,000 euro during the course of a search of a house at Seaview.

The man is detained at Bray Garda station under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Investigating officers say drug seizures of this nature play a critical role in targeting the livelihood of those involved.
