A man has died in a shooting in West Dublin.
The shooting happened on Wheatfield Avenue in Clondalkin at about 9.30 pm last night.
The man, who's in his 30s, was shot a number of times.
He was treated at the scene by the emergency services, but lost his fight for life.
The area has been sealed off and a forensic examination of the area is due to take place.
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses.
