Ministers are to turn down a pay increase worth up to 5,000 euro a year as part of the Budget.
They've agreed that the increases - which form part of the Lansdowne Road pay deal - will be refused.
But the opposition says that's not enough - and want the pay hikes cancelled permanently.
However Sinn Féin's been accused of "crocodile tears" for complaining about the increases now, when it voted against the measure which introduced the pay cuts in the first place.
Politicians are set for pay increases over the next three years, in line with other public servants who are seeing cuts restored.
