A post mortem is expected to be carried out today on the body of a two year old boy, found dead at an apartment in Dublin yesterday.

The body of Hassan Khan, was found at an apartment at RidgeHall in Ballybrack Village yesterday afternoon - it's understood he may have been stabbed to death.

Hassan Khan had been the subject of a nationwide Garda safety alert in August - which was called off after less than an hour when Hassan was found with his father.

A woman in her 40's has been arrested and is being questioned at Dun Laoghaire Garda Station.
