Netflix has announced that the next season of House of Cards would be the last, saying it's deeply troubled by allegations that Kevin Spacey made unwanted sexual advances towards a 14 year old actor in 1986.
An Emmy award he was due to get in November to honour his contribution to TV has also been revoked.
Kim Buckley has this report:
The claims from Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp were first made to Buzzfeed News yesterday.
In a statement on twitter, Kevin Spacey apologised saying that he didn't remember the incident, but if it happened, it would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour.
He also came out as a gay man in the same statement, and is now facing criticism that he made the announcement to deflect attention from the allegations.
A Netflix spokesperson has confirmed that the decision to end the show was made months earlier, but was made public in light of the allegations against Spacey.

Meanwhile, it's emerged Seth McFarlane made a joke about Kevin Spacey in a Family Guy episode that aired over ten years ago.
A clip from the animated comedy has re-surfaced following allegations of sexual assault against the House of Cards actor.
It's the second McFarlane joke to resurface in recent weeks, after he made a gag about Harvey Weinstein at the 2013 Oscars.
The Family Guy clip shows baby Stewie running through a shopping centre.
