Former Westlife singer Nicky Byrne failed to make it through to the Eurovision finals.

He didn't get enough votes in last night's semi final for his performance of the song, Sunlight.

Ireland still holds the title for the most wins in the history of the contest, but, it's been over twenty years since we last brought home the title.

The final takes place in Stockholm on Saturday night - it's the first time the event will be broadcast live to the US.
