Nine aid workers have been killed in Afghanistan

At least nine aid workers have been killed by American bombs which fell on a hospital in northern Afghanistan.

37 others have been seriously injured, according the medical charity MSF.

The US has admitted part of the hospital in Kunduz may have been destroyed in 'collateral damage' during air strikes targeting the Taliban.

Journalist Sune Engel Rasmussen in the Afghan capital Kabul says questions should be asked:

She says all sides were warned about the location of the hospital in advance of the airstrikes
