The US president Barack Obama says the north's peace process has become an inspiring example to the world.

The president made the comment at a "town hall" style question-and-answer session in London today.

He was responding to a question from Belfast woman Clíona McCarney.

Earlier, President Obama visited the Globe Theatre in London, where he watched a Shakespeare rehearsal.

Today marks the 400th anniversary of the bard's death, with events taking place across the UK, and the world.

Mr Obama is also due to have talks with British Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
