Phil Hogan is taking questions from the European Parliament in Brussels this morning - as he attempts to secure the EU Agriculture Commission job.
The former Environment Minister is expected to face rigorous questioning over his handling of water charges and his plans for his new portfolio.
He'll be asked 45 questions over a three hour period.
