Billy Porter has made history by becoming the first openly gay black man to win an Emmy award in his category.
The American actor won the title of 'Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series' for his role in 'Pose'.
He gave an emotional speech when receiving the award at the event in California last night:

He told the audience, " It took many years of vomiting up all the filth that I had been taught about myself, and half believed before I could walk around this earth like I had the right to be here."
