According to Met Éireann, heavy rain is expected over the course of Thursday - with accumulations between 30 and 50 mm possible.
The warning is separate from a potential 'Storm Brian', which could hit Ireland on Saturday.
However, forecasters have said that storm, if it develops, is not expected to have anywhere near the impact of the powerful Ophelia earlier this week.
