The result of Austria's presidential election - which is due to be announced later - could see the European Union's first far-right head of state voted in.

One projection says the race between right-wing Freedom Party candidate Norbert Hofer and former Greens leader Alexander van der Bellen is too close to call.

Support for Mr Hofer's nationalist, Eurosceptic and anti-immigration party has been boosted by the migration crisis.
