Russia and the US have agreed to hold talks as soon as possible to prevent any accidental clashes in Syria.

Earlier Russia announced it had carried out its first air strikes on Islamic State targets in the country.

But countries including the US and France are concerned the Russians may have bombed non-IS areas held by Syrian opposition groups.
