The Education Minister says school admissions policies on the religion of a child will only be able to change after the election.
Jan O'Sullivan says the Oireachtas has run out of time to enact the Admissions Bill, which would have limited the amount of children of past pupils that can be enrolled in a school.
A survey published today shows that 84 percent would like the education system reformed so no child can be excluded on religious grounds.
