One of the most successful parties of the 2016 general election is set to be Sinn Fein.
The party had 14 TDs in the last Dáil but is on course to elect over 20 TDs to the 32nd Dáil, meaning it will be the third largest party or grouping.
As expected, most of the party's big names were comfortably returned, including President Gerry Adams, Deputy Leader Mary-Lou McDonald and Finance Spokesperson Pearse Doherty.

Caoimhghín Ó'Caoláin and Aengus Ó Snodaigh also retained their seats in Cavan Monaghan and Dublin South Central respectively.
The party has so far welcomed 10 first time TDs from its county council ranks and the Seanad, including the husband and wife pairing of Senator David Cullinane and Cllr Kathleen Funchion.
Newcomer Louise O'Reilly is one of the few elected TDs who was not previously a TD, Councillor or Senator.

However, Gerry Adams has all but ruled out his party's prospects of forming the next Government.
Mr Adams says Sinn Féin won't serve as junior partner in a coalition with either Fianna Fáil or Fine Gael - and believes another General Election might not be far away:
