The three and a half thousand Irish soldiers killed in the Battle of the Somme have been remembered at a ceremony in Dublin.
A minute's silence has been held and the President lay a wreath in memory of those killed in the most deadly battle of World War One.
It's one of series of events being held across Europe to mark 100 years since the fighting.
