Strikes at Dublin Bus have been called off after a deal was struck between unions and management at the company.
The deal –which would see workers get an 11.25% pay increase over three years –has been described by unions as the best they could get.
It came after three days of intense negotiations at the Workplace Relations Commission and followed six full days of strikes – which cost the firm 6 million euro.

Workers will now be balloted by their individual unions – with results expected within a fortnight.
SIPTU organiser Owen Reidy was asked if he thought they might reject it because itÂ’s lower than what some Luas drivers got:
