Talks between Luas management and workers at the Workplace Relations Commission have ended for the weekend.
Operator Transdev and Unions were locked in talks throughout today - but they're set to return to the table on Monday morning.
However, Drivers who make up 170 of the company's 250 staff remain outside the process.
They have reduced their demands from a 53 per cent increase to 30 per cent however the company wants that brought down to 20%.
Yesterday, in a major escalation, drivers announced two further 48 hour strikes in April. This will be in addition to previously announced stoppages on St Patrick's Day and over Easter weekend.
Transdev has already announced plans to provide buses on St Patrick's day.
The buses will run from Park & Ride stops at 10 minute intervals but the company is warning there will be less capacity compared to the trams so delays can be expected.
