Over 100 taxis have driven through Dublin city centre in protest at changes to their fares.
The National Transport Authority is increasing fares by an average of 4 percent, and changing the number of bands.
But taxi drivers say the cost of re-calibrating and re-sealing their metres - up to 250 euro, is not worth the increase in fares.
And they say that some journeys will be losing money.
