The teenager who died after being swept out to sea by a freak wave at Hook Head in Wexford will be laid to rest today.
Aoife Winterlich from Dublin passed away last week - days after she was pulled from the Irish sea by the Coast guard helicopter.
The 14 year old fell from the helicopter as it came to her aid on the 6th of December.
Funeral Mass will take place at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Walkinstown at ten o'clock this morning - followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery.
The Air Accident Investigation Unit has launched an investigation into the incident.
