A team of 90 British army medics have arrived in Sierra Leone where they're joining efforts to try to contain ebola.

The World Health Organisation says it's increasing efforts to help 15 African countries defend themselves against the virus.

Elsewhere, three people are being tested for the disease in Madrid, Copenhagen and Connecticut.

UNICEF's Sheldon Yett in Liberia says it would be premature to think the outbreak's been contained.
