Tourists continue to rate Ireland as good value for money, according to Fáilte Ireland's annual Visitor Attitudes Survey.

56 per cent of the 2,000 people surveyed said that their trip met all their expectations, while a further 44 per cent said their holiday actually exceeded all expectations

Tourism is performing well so far this year, with tourism businesses across the country reporting increased bookings.

The tourism authority published the survey ahead of its annual trade fair Meitheal 2016, which is taking place in the RDS tomorrow and Tuesday.
