US Vice President Joe Biden has arrived in Dublin at the start of a six-day visit to Ireland.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny welcomed him at Government Buildings tonight and presented him with a hurley and sliotar.
Whilst in the capital, he will deliver remarks on the Irish-American experience and the values of tolerance, diversity and inclusiveness.
And he will visit his ancestral homes in Mayo and Louth.

Tomorrow, Mr Biden and Taoiseach Kenny will be making stops in several towns in Mayo.
On Thursday morning, he will play a round of golf with Mr Kenny. Then on Friday he will take a tour of the library at Trinity College Dublin, before delivering his remarks. Mr Biden will then head to Co Louth on Saturday, touring Newgrange, before returning to Dublin. He will then fly from Dublin to Washington DC on Sunday.
