Wikileaks has released a new cache of documents, it says shows US intelligence bugged private meetings between major world leaders, including the UN Secretary General and the German Chancellor.
It claims the former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi and Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu are also among those who had their conversations listened to by the National Security Agency.
In a statement, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange says the documents show that private meetings about climate change, global economics and 'how to deal with Obama' were listened to.
