Woman Dies In Road Crash In Co Sligo
A woman in her 50's has been killed in a road crash in Co. Sligo.
The two-car collision happened on the R290 at Dunamurry at Ballygawley, at around 7.30pm on Monday. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other car was taken to Sligo University Hospital for treatment for non life-threatening injuries.
The woman's body was taken to Sligo University Hospital.
The road remains closed this morning and Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the crash or anyone who has dash-cam footage from the area to contact them.
