The Government is set to start work on new abortion laws which are due within months
It follows yesterday's landslide referendum result to change the constitution and repeal the 8th amendment.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar says new laws could be in place by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, The Canadian Prime Minister has congratulated the Taoiseach on the result of the referendum.
