He's the latest in a line of leaders to condemn the attacks.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon called it  "a horrendous, unjustifiable and cold-blooded crime."

Police are searching for three gunmen who stormed the offices of a magazine in Paris, killing 12 people.

A number of others were left critically injured after the shooting

World leaders have condemned the attack.

Among them US Secretary of State John Kerry;

The magazine has courted controversy in the past with its satirical take on world affairs.

The office was firebombed in 2011 after it issued a special edition, which they said was guest edited by the Prophet Mohammad, renaming the magazine "Sharia Hebdo."

The attack has been condemned worldwide as an assault on press freedom and the freedom of speech.
