The name Denise Robinson may, or may not, ring a bell, but for any fans of First Dates Ireland you'll remember her from her oyster scene with Mayo man Stephen:
Believe it or not, Stephen is actually from the same town as me (or at least he has lived there for years), so meeting her today was extra fun.
Earlier this year, Denise moved from her life in Hollywood (county down - not LA) to have a go at 'the big smoke'.
Having tried the minefield that is dating apps, Denise wanted to express her feelings and thoughts to a wider audience hoping it would result in connecting with people of similar experiences.
It certainly did that, and then some!
Her vlogs helped to inspire Dee's Dublin Life, a chronicle of the delights dating in your 40's throws at ya. Have a goo at her Twitter and Facebook.
Dee called in to tell us all about her journey and tell Dermot and Dave of her latest venture Dee's Dublin Nights, an event to help people meet in 'real-life'.
It's happening on June 28th in the ely Bar and Grill. If it's something that might float your boat, you can click on the link in the tweet below:
