With the 2018 IFTA Film and Drama Awards just around the corner, we welcomed The Limit Of  writer & director Alan Mulligan, and actress Sarah Carroll (Supporting Actress Nominee), into studio this morning to fill us in on what the movie is all about.

It's actually quite an amazing series of events which lead to Alan creating this semi-autobiographical tale. The story is of a banker merely existing in the corporate world, who after a family crisis goes down a dark path of destruction. 

The psychological thriller has merited rave reviews throughout the industry and has been nominated for an IFTA Award on February 15th of this year. 

Alan portrayed his life as a banker and how he wanted to break free from the hamster wheel he was trapped in; deciding to go on a mission and turn things around. 

Actress Sarah Carroll also gave us some insight into her role and how a certain circumstance made the filming that bit tougher for her. 

We can't wait to see the movie in full as it sounds like a gripping feature, but there's more to come from Alan in the form of a TV show that he hopes to be commissioned in the near future. You're gonna love the concept of it...
