The Altice Arena, Lisbon hosts the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 tonight and with the hope of a nation (well a high portion of us) resting on Ryan O'Shaughnessy's shoulders, Dermot and Dave had a look at some of the best songs going up against him.

There's something very 'now' sounding, a pile of cheese (surprising for the Eurovision), rock and a tune that sounds like a chicken being strangled. 

Marty Whelan was also on the phone live from the Portuguese capital to give his predictions, chat about some local delicacies and even admits that he's been a bad omen for Ireland.
