What's better than an Irish wedding?
Regardless of how you know they couple (even if you've gatecrashed), you're always guaranteed a great day/night out.
A beautiful ceremony in a lovingly decked out church, a couple of pints in the local after, mingling on arriving at the hotel, the slap up meal (where you eat waaaaaaaay too much), tearing up the dancefloor (plus attempting to jive with your aunt Rosaleen from England) and the craic that flows into the early hours AND the following day.
They're in a league of their own!
Ohh and what about the speeches? How could I forget those? Us Irish have an exquisite way with words and now, thanks to ATOM Films, you could have yours featured in a new Irish documentary. And it sounds amazing.
On this morning's Dermot and Dave, the lads gave filmmaker Alex Fagan a call to learn more about his latest project.
Alex is looking for Irish couples, who are getting married inside the next 6 months, to get in touch with him for an opportunity to feature in the documentary which focuses on Irish weddings - mainly the speeches part.
He and his team want to paint a portrait of Irish wedding speeches from the four corners of Ireland and celebrate our uniqueness when it comes to the 'big day'.
So if you're looking to save a couple of grand on your special day, and have it immortalised by high calibre movie maker, then you'll never get a better chance than this.
