So just to reiterate...Danny is NOT in prison - he has just started doing some gigs there. 

It's not your average venue, but on this morning's Dermot and Dave, the comedian told us why he decided to give jails a go and how much fun they are. 

He also chatted about his recent 3Arena appearance, going on the piss with Bill Burr and how much he's looking forward to the Vodafone Comedy Festival in the Iveagh Gardens. 

The Comedy Festival kicks off this Thursday (26th) until Sunday the 29th and you can find Danny there throughout the weekend. That's if he doesn't get held hostage in the meantime.
