Many people across Ireland have been confused of late.

It’s after receiving a notification on their phone, saying they’ve been in close contact with someone that may have had Covid-19.

Well it turns out this is just a glitch from Apple and Google and is nothing to do with Ireland’s Covid-19 tracker app.

The issue is believed to lie with the underlying exposure notification application software rather than the Covid Tracker Ireland app.
