Caradh O'Donovan from Sligo has been battling Crohn's disease for years, but after gaining a better understanding of the ailment, and a recent change in her choice of combat sport, she has her eyes firmly fixed on Tokyo 2020. 

Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. There is no known cause of the condition, and no known cure - so it's all about how best one can handle it. 

Dermot and Dave were joined by Caradh in studio this morning, to find out all about her incredible journey and the road that lies ahead. 

She has some fundamental information on the symptoms to look out for, but also proves that with awareness and training you can battle it and lead a normal life. 

May she continue to kick it's ass, and everyone else's she encounters on the trail to Tokyo.
