"Taxing the hole off people and patting yourselves on the back for it, it just doesn't work for me"

In what has been a very testing week for Ireland environmentally, fiscally and politically, Today FM's Dermot and Dave wanted to learn a bit more about the Extinction Rebellion movement.

The global group, who describes itself as a 'non-violent Rebellion against the governments of the world for climate and ecological justice', have caused disruptions in Dublin since Monday as part of a seven-day protest there.

Extinction Rebellion volunteer Eoin Campbell spoke to the show, spreading some light on their goals. He also bust the myths around what they are doing.
