Up Limerick!!
What a moment it was in the dome for Dr Sinéad Flanagan last night as she was crowned the 2019 Rose of Tralee.
And although she was the bookies favourite at odds of 7/4, her reaction showed just how unexpected the result was:

Dermot and Dave gave the locum junior doctor a call to see if the achievement had sunk in yet and learn what's next for the Limerick lady.
The soon to be 28-year-old (her birthday is this Thursday) chats about how she had planned to do "some flexible work" and "hopefully a bit of travel, a couple of months here and there" prior to her win. Well Sinéad, the world sure is your oyster now.
That €25,000 World Travel prize will go a loooong we we have a feeling.
