When most people are planning their wedding, it’s unlikely that they could imagine it turning into a fully fledged festival…and then an actual festival festival.

That’s what happened to Galway couple Cormac Jennings and Sharon Sweeney.

In 2019 when they married, they decided to use their farm to hold a wedding festival.

The result? A marriage and the realisation that they were onto something special.

In July this year, the couple held their first Livestock Festival with 35 bands, 2 stages, a host of other demonstrations and hundreds of attendees.

Cormac joined Dermot and Dave to explain how it all came about, and if he’ll be repeating it for 2023.
