People have been voting for the most annoying GAA fans across the country on a Twitter thread, and the results are in.
Dermot & Dave ran through the full list of all the traits we hate, from know-it-alls to blaming a curse we've compiled a list of the Top 10 most annoying counties.

MOST ANNOYING GAA FANS – TOP 10
- Cork – According to Cork fans, they should have won every competition ever – and anytime they didn’t win, it’s not because a better team won, it’s be THEY played bad. Their fans also seem to have a better wealth of knowledge then any player or manager in the country.
- Tipperary – Arrogant is the only way to describe Tipp fans – if you meet a Tipp hurling fans in the run up to any hurling game, they reckon they’ll win hands down.
- Dublin – To be fair, the Dublin hurling fans are great. Why? Because they are all from or related to people from down the country. The Dublin football fans however claim they ‘bleed blue’ however most of them couldn’t name the starting 15 over the last 5 years.
- Waterford – Little bit rough around the edges, lets just say the Waterford fans could find beef with even a Wicklow supporter
- Kerry – We get it, you’ve won loads of All Ireland’s – no need to mention that every time you lose, win or draw a game.
- Limerick – Up until 12 months ago, they were actually grand. However, now they seem to think they have a god given right to play every game at home and their fans think they’ll probably win the next 10 All Ireland finals.
- Kilkenny – Just don’t seem to appreciate all the good times they’ve experienced over the last 20 years. Like Kilkenny winning an All Ireland is ZERO craic.
- Offaly – Well.. this is fairly self-explanatory.
- Clare – They talk a good game and have the swagger of a Kilkenny fan. However, ye have only won 4 All Ireland’s lads and the 90’s are a LONG time ago, time to move on.
- Mayo – There is no such thing is as a curse, and every year isn’t your year. The only reason you aren’t higher up the list is because every year after your team gets knocked out you go into hibernation.
